Jokes on you it's a delicious imperial stout.

For first stout I recommend Samuel Smith's oatmeal stout.

Many of the decent dessert stouts are actually quite bitter, most of the haters on here don't understand that though as they have never tried them. Pic related is a bit sweeter than founders but it's also good.

Its not a marketing ploy, nor a gimmick to have sweet flavors in a stout or porter, and to describe it amd advertise it in the name or label on the beer. It is used to give the beer a specific set of sweet notes that pair well with a thick savoury bitter taste of the beer.

If a baker was selling banana or coffee flavored bread, and had baked the fresh ingredients into the batch to pair it with the savoury taste of the bread, it is not a gimmick or marketing ploy to describe the product as banana or coffee bread. Labelling it as plain bread would simply be a falsehood and people would buy it and be disappointed if they didn't want a sweet loaf of bread. The same principle applies to these sweet stouts and porters.

To be honest your ignorance is showing quite a lot here, thinking that the descriptions of the sweet flavors in these beers are a 'gimmick. It's obvious you have never tried one, you really should pick one up and give it a taste, they are very drinkable and delicious beers.

I've tried all the beers that I'm posting and they are genuinely good beers, why are you so upset about other people's taste in beer?
