it's kind of hard to place violence jack in a specific part of the chronology, mainly due to it only being canon in itself & the existence of shin violence jack. the events that happen in the two differ quite a bit

i really should get around to reading the mazinger stuff, i think it's the only of nagai's major works i haven't read yet (aside from cutie hunie)
