I almost never browse this board and I can't cook so I have nothing constructive to offer, but one time 6-7 years ago when I was out with some friends, I bought a can of sardines from a dollar store, opened it, and then left it in this little space under one of the massive lights in the parking lot. I periodically checked to see if the can was still there whenever I made visits (which was fairly often,) but then one day the can was gone. I have no idea what happened to it.
