I lived in Chicago for 40 years. Took for granted the loads of ethnic restaurants. Been in Minnesota for a decade and am reduced to Somali shit or food I cook. But the fishing is loads better.

As succinctly as possible, good booze maintains an alcohol kick will letting other flavors shine. Shit whiskey tastes like alcohol first, some grain or smoky flavor after, if at all. Good whiskey let's the grain and aging tastes shine with some alcohol bite.

Speaking of good stuff, pic related is out fucking standing if you like American whiskey.

You're gonna have to work hard to come up with a better American whisky. Even harder to find a better one at ~35 bucks.
