Whenever I drive up North, I always stop in the little village of Ubly for a sandwich. Near the tip of Michigan's thumb (and where on February 25, 2004, a wolverine was spotted, the first one sighted in Michigan in over 200 years), they call this an "'ub." Sounds corny, but the when the sandwich guy asks you want you want, you say, "Gimme an 'ub, Bub." Deliciousness is found in every bite.

Here in Bete Grise, on the Keweenaw peninsula in Michigan's U.P., today is "Club Sandwich Monday." The locals call it a "Harbor Buoy" but it's still just that delicious triple-decker sandwich we all know and love.
