Best chain BBQ I've had. Often better than most locally owned BBQ outside of a competitive market. From central VA and it shits on pretty much everything here which is a low bar, but it's even probably above the curve for central TX where my gf is from. Inb4 any Carolina or Bama fags chime in. your BBQ is worse than VA desu, it's just "distinct". Also I've have better BBQ in NY and NJ than a lot southern places because they actually have to try.

What are some other instances of regional foods that became so burdened by the tradition that they wound up as one of the worst options of it's catergory? So far I have
