Okay, you leave your brush-off to a 23 year old paleo blogger with no training whatsoever in statistical analysis, who thinks she understands the science better than the 80-something Cornell University professor of nutrition and his colleagues who performed the research

Here's a video about the China Study and Denise Minger's take on it if you're interested

>Where did those recommended values come from?
>it's my own. i'm on a low carb, high fat diet if you didn't get that...

I can't say if fruitarianism is healthy or not because I've never really seen any actual studies on it, just peoples' youtube videos and personal anecdotes which don't mean much, but there's nothing more hilarious than a low-carber judging peoples' health by their own macronutrient parameters.

Also, for what it's worth, the chief editor of the American Journal of Cardiology believes that a fruit-based vegetarian diet is an effective way to prevent/treat heart disease

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1312295/

>Some patients apparently believe that the statin drugs need to be taken for only a few months—until the cholesterol levels come down. I believe that it is important to tell patients when they are first placed on a statin drug that they will need to take the drug every day for the remainder of their lives. Of course, if a patient subsequently becomes a pure vegetarian-fruit eater it might be possible to discontinue the statin drug, but few Americans are willing to go the vegetarian route.

Now the meat guy and the cheese guy are going to argue about whose favorite food is less unhealthy
