Basquefag checking in, one of our national dishes is bacalao al pil-pil.

It's quite simply cod in a sauce made with garlic, chilli pepper and olive oil. It's not so much the ingredients themselves as the amount of oil: last time I made bacalao al pil-pil, I needed almost half a litre of olive oil to make 4 servings. It's one of those dishes which are easier to enjoy if you don't know what's in them
