have you ever even been to a church service? it's pretty comfy. why are you so angry toward religious people? i'm 90% sure god doesn't exist and 100% certain all religion is bullshit, but if it gives people a purpose who am i to tell them they're retarded?

life sucks. nobody asked for this. if that is what they take solace in, so be it. why do you think that religious people all conspire to brainwash and dehumanize or think they're better?

one of the main tenets of christianity is humility. there's a lot of good stuff in there; in FACT, our collective values in the west are primarily thanks to judeo-christian ideology.

i've read the bible, it sucks. the jefferson bible is pretty fucking good, though. it's the morality and philosophical parts of the bible with all the magic and bullshit edited out. i'd suggest you read it.

i hate islam and i've read the qur'an. as a person i think it's very important to educate yourself about things you hate, then you can argue against them better but usually you'll develop an understanding that will quell your hatred a bit. for me, this leads to a tolerance but generally not acceptance, which is better than blind hatred.
