It's good, I certainly can't afford to eat it all the time, and I wouldn't pay restaurant pricing. But I would have no problem buying wholesale priced A5 Wagyu for personal consumption for a special occasion every couple of years or something.

This is exactly the sort of opinion i'd expect for someone that has never had A5 wagyu.

Its NOTHING like ground beef and you're a retard

I enjoyed Wagyu the two times i've had it.

I'd say it's worth it for a special occasion, at least to try it.

Though it is a bit daunting to cook since you're worried about ruining potentially hundreds of dollars worth of meat.

small portion sizes
When I bought some A5 and grilled it up, I ended up giving everyone in the house ~4-5oz each and it was plenty.

it isn't chewy, it basically melts in your mouth

Medium is what i went for, texture was a bit gelatinous, but VERY tender.

lol, no it isnt

some people simply enjoy meat on the rarer side, that doesn't make it raw.

i approve of wagyu, i can't see myself paying restaurant pricing, but find a good price per oz online and it's not horrible, obviously still for special occasions, but it's affordable enough.

Ehhhh, it was A5 wagyu, it really should've been cooked a few more minutes to render the fat more.

Pic related is my 2nd attempt with the A5 wagyu, it came out MUCH nicer texture/mouthfeel and overall flavor was better.

I cooked my A5 the other day on a grill (indirect heat) then sliced somewhat thin.

I prefer more fat, and a bit more pink.
