Beef short ribs. Whether at a BBQ place or a french restaurant, they are extremely tender and delicious, and always slow-cooked to a high temperature if you haven't adjusted to medium-rare meats. Other options:

Casual chain restaurant
>cheesecake factory, steak diane with chicken madeira
High-end
>wagyu yakiniku with bone marrow rice
personal nostalgia and home cooking

That's perfectly fine unless you power had gone out or something. Have you never bought frozen meats before, for hot pot or shabu-shabu? The expiration date is 3 months at a minimum, and will be safe long after that.

>he doesn't buy a half/whole cow and get it butchered and packaged for the freezer
It's literally, LITERALLY, the most economical way to buy meat.

>B-but I don't have space in my freezer!
If you already have a standalone freezer, you have enough room. Period. Throw out those pizza pockets and Ben & Jerry's you've been stockpiling and you'll have at least enough room for a whole pig, or not half a cow.
