Standard beer: Yuengling
Nicer beer (but still affordable): Warsteiner Dunkel
Seasonal beer: Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest
Kentucky bourbon/Tennessee whiskey (TN whiskey is a subgenre of bourbon): Evan Williams white label/George Dickel 12

Those are my favorites.

Having a party at my house in two weeks for my kid's 7th birthday. What alcohol should I provide to the adults, /ck/? I was thinking Warsteiner Dunkel and Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest for the men and a White Claw variety pack for the women.

I don't drink beer anymore, but one of the beers in pic related is my fav.

I rarely drink beer now, ever since I switched to bourbon. You get the same effect minus the liquid bread carb bomb. Only downside it's less socially acceptable to drink in straight form in some social situations (daytime pool parties, for example).

What's the best US macro beer and why is it Yuengling?

Pic related.

35-year-old here. I'm officially not a boomer, as you have to be born between 1946 and 1964 to be one of those. I'm right in the spot where Gen X ends and Millennial begins.

Anyway, I don't care for most low-cost pilsner (a.k.a.: piss-colored) beers, but I will drink it if it's free. Although I've lately grown fond of IPAs due to the higher alcohol content, my favorite US macro beer is Yuengling. Pic related says it all.
