I saw a post here recently basically saying

yes you dumb fuck, that's the point. he makes simple introductory recipes for plebs to bring to potlucks and learn cooking in an accessible manner. shitting on food wishes is like when you turn 10 and shit on sesame street because it's "for babies". it doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not for you. this man is a treasure who helps people get over their fear of cooking. if his recipes are too dumbed down for you, they're not for you. I like watching them as some kind of guilty pleasure as I pretend I am a fat midwestern housewife who wishes she could see the world and get fucked by tyrone but escapes by making dollar store thai food for her book club. you can't take that from me faggots
