Greetings /ck/, /k/ here:

I have been without a bread machine for some time, and given the supposed amazon prime day coming up, I am somewhat interesting in picking up a replacement breadmaker for mine that died many years ago.

I have looked at various models/brands and see that a common issue is the kneeding paddles sheering off, leaving tasty metal shavings in my dough. Does /ck/ have any specific suggestions of what to avoid or get? The most highly reviewed brand seems to be Zojirushi, but that would need a sizeable discount for me to be interested.


Also: I understand some people here hate bread machines compared to an oven, but it is too hot to make bread every day in the oven this time of year.
