>there are people on /ck/ from third world countries where people still wash dishes by hand
I am 32 years old and have literally never once in my life washed a plate under running water. The whole idea is just insane, like washing my shirt in a bucket of soapy water instead of just putting it in the machine. Do you people not have electricity and plumbing in your countries?

I cook acidic stuff on my cast-iron all the time and theres nothing wrong with it

I will never understand why Americans keep comparing two different foods, that they unexplicably decided to call with the same name, insisting they're the same one and that one of the two is objectively "better".

It defies explaination, it's a constantly recurring shitshow what boggles the mind.
Imagine observing two people who are loudly arguing about whether potato soup or carrot soup is inherently better than the other on an objective basis. Or whether chicken or turkey is objectively better.

That's Americans flinging shit at eachother over which one of two different foods is the best.

Pumpkin is actually great in a lot of things, including pies. Not sure what a pumpkin crunch is though.

does it exist co/ck/s?

I just turned 30 and have grown skinnyfat, so I'm trying to turn it around before I go into a death spiral.

I never realized how much calories I was consuming until I started trying to make healthy food. I'm still gorging myself but luckily it's on salads and shit and I'm cutting out sweets. working on portion control too.

I want to keep it up but buying fresh produce and meats in bulk to keep the costs down is just a bitch in kitchen prep. I don't want to spend multiple hours every couple days cleaning and chopping and washing.

any tips to make this easier? money isn't a huge issue but I'd still like to keep the costs as low as possible.

I feel like the overwhelming vast majority of /ck/ has no idea what the fuck they're talking about when it comes to knives or steel. There is nothing wrong with HAP-40, since the discovery of ironworking knives have been made of carbon steel and for thousands of years they've worked pretty good.

Sperging on about how using a different kind of handle with a knife of a slightly different metal composition is pretty fucking stupid and autistic since it's has absolutely no impact on the utility of the knife in any appreciable way.

I could make a knife out of an old coil spring from a old VW bus, slap some jap runes on it and you fags wouldn't be able to tell the difference with a gun to your head.
>>9381430
Then it would be called stainless steel.
