Pizza gets thinner the farther north one travels in Italy.

Roma was an inch of cheese, meats or/and vegetables, with a 3/8 " > 1/4" bready crust.

Firenza was closer to a thin crust/somewhat bready below (the toppings) with but a baked oven feel all around the pie.

La Spezia I can't recall the the food. My companions of extended family, the ocean views, playing guitar despite the language barrier, Woody Allen and Gene Wilder in a theatre... the food was good, the wine was better, the company was the best.

Milano pizza was a paper thin crunchy crust, with what would be best described as tomato sauce poured onto the lightly crisped home-made cracker.
Parmesan cheese or similar lightly sprinkled on top of the marinara.

What side dishes would you recommend for fajitas?
