I've never tried this stuff before. How would you describe the taste?

Usually I only see it in places like japantowns over here, but today I was at a safeway a little farther away from my house and noticed they sell a bunch of asian products now, moreso than most stores.

Pricing is really weird, like a container of spicy seaweed was $3 but the regular flavor was almost $6.

They also sold umeboshi there, but it was more orange-brown in color and had MSG and some weird ingredients in there.
