My friend joined the armed forces. Everyone he knew at the time including me called him a fucking idiot. But after he did his two years I went down to see him. He was best bros with his NAVY next door neighbor and his gf. He had a whole squad of guys ready to do his bidding. I'm sure it wasn't that great when it wasn't new years. Now he lives in Guatamala putting together a "charity". I don't know where I was going with this but he seemed happier than I was at the time. Maybe we were both happier at the time. His grants fell through, now he just lives out there. Letting his investments grow while he lives off nothing because it's so cheap there. Oh god /ck/ where did it go wrong.
