What are some things that, in your opinion, are better to buy pre-made rather than make yourself?

I hear phyllo dough is a bitch to make.

Just curious, how many of you buy generic brand foods or shop very frugally?

I bought some crackers yesterday at some grocery, and they taste really similar to ritz... Only you know, it was $1.20. Ingredients were the same.

I also enjoy my grocery's brand of crushed tomatoes-- They're much thicker (I like making my red sauce kinda thick) than other name brands.
