You can fry much better in a big cast iron dutch oven that isn't laden with electronic failsafes and countermeasures and safety geegaws designed to prevent your 300 pound autistic child from burning his hands when he's doing up his daily nugget ration. Then when you're done frying, you can take your dutch oven and use it for braising and baking.
