I've been microdosing myself for the past six months, has been huge in the process of alleviating my anxiety and depression disorders. Not a magic bullet by any means, and is just supplemental to the actual CBT work I'm doing, but it's definitely increased the efficacy of the exercises I've been trying.

The way I like to explain it is if your mind is a ski slope, skiing down the same paths over and over wears a groove into the snow, and makes you more likely to follow that path. Psilocybin is like a fresh layer of snow, making it easier to wear alternate grooves into the hill rather than following past ones.

Productivity has gone up at work, I enjoy interpersonal interactions quite a bit more, less ambiguous anxiety, and fewer days feeling glum or low-energy. If I microdosed on its own without also working on self growth, I'm not sure I would have seen any improvement, but I think it's been helpful in making me open to discarding past reflexive behaviors and thought patterns. Very possibly a placebo because I'm placing my faith in something outside myself, but results are results
