First of all, you fucked it up bro. Second of all, the recipe you linked doesn't look like it would be good even if done correctly (which you definitely didn't).

As for why it got so many favorable ratings... I guess there are just a lot of people out there satisfied with crap recipes. I'm not really familiar with allrecipes.com so I dunno what their standards are like, but if that's the kind of stuff that is considered 4 and 1/2 stars on there, then I would suggest using a different site.

But yeah, you clearly fucked it up. I mean like egregiously fucked it up, and if you can't see that then you are retards.
