That's a matter of opinion. My 90+ year old granny smoked like a train for most of her life, and past generations lived with coal and wood fires for heat and cooking for most of the year. Recent studies have indicated that not everyone's lungs are equal, and some people are blessed with having lungs that repair themselves more efficiently than others.
