A coffee from aldis called "best friend" which is a blend of 2 light roast and 1 dark roast.

I think the two light roasts was an acidic columbian and a floral Ethiopian.

No cause while sounding novel the dark roast they used is shit tier; tastes of burnt and ash. Went through the trouble of separating the beans to grind separately and tasted much better. I got another whole bean bag from Aldi's I'll be trying soon.

Why? They are designed to operate under 1-2 bars of pressure. The only thing that can wear out is the gasket which can be replaced. What brand did you get, and where?
