That's the good shit right there. I make it a few times during stew season. It's as much fun to make as it is to eat, in my humble opinion.

I'm not French, though. I'm Danish and grew up with a lot of fish and potatoes.

Not him, but regularly posting your own cooking on /ck/ does make you pretty easy to recognise both by people on the board and by anyone who knows you privately and has seen your kitchen.
People recognise me by my plates sometimes.

I made my own seasalt last Summer since I live right by the ocean anyway. It didn't yield as much product as I was hoping but I guess it's nice to know it's an option of SHTF.
Just left seawater in the sun in a shallow metal tray and kept topping it off.

I don't understand the point of this thread.
Cooking a steak isn't difficult. You might as well be bragging about wiping your own ass.
But then, I don't generally understand that there are people who "can't cook".

I'm just from a culture where a nice fresh fish like this is usually only eaten with a little salt and pepper and maybe a parsleysauce on the side with some potatoes.
It looks good. I wish fish wasn't so expensive here. The one you made in this thread would easily cost me $50
