Poach an egg with a spoonful of white vinegar in the water. Swirl it around to create a vortex-like cyclone and this will help the egg whites wrap around the yolk and stay in a solid chunk instead of spread around the pan. Serve over buttered toast. Fry up some spinach and spread onto the toast for bonus delicious flavor.

Lazy vinegar fix: Pickle and mayonnaise sandwich. It sounds heinous, but trust me in that it's satisfying and good. You get the vinegar crunch of the pickle and the sweet creamy goodness of the mayo. Cheap, quick, satisfying.

Boil water in a frying pan.
Swirl the water with a spoon and add a small dollop of white vinegar.
Once boiling, swirl water again so that when you crack an egg into it, the whites will swirl around the yolk instead of scattering around in the pan.
Boil for 4 minutes. Scoop out with slotted spoon and place on top of english muffin. (Bonus points for adding cooked spinach and buttering the muffin in advance.)
Voila. Eggs Florentine.
