I typically lurk on /pol/, /o/, and /gif/ so if I miss some etiquette here, my bad. But yeah wanted to get some advice about what sort of pots, pans, and cooking utensils I should get.

I'm one week into actually maintaining this diet/weightloss and provided I can NOT binge this weekend, I will get over the biggest hurdle in my life. The keto is temporary, and in itself its not hard to do, but all my life, portion sizes have been a problem. Being 6'4 and 265lbs I need to get down to at least 230lbs. A decade of going to the gym for almost 1-1/2 hours every day means I'm used to exercising but at 30, it just isn't keeping the weight down like it used to.

So now I have to "re-learn" how to cook meals properly, control portions, and get rid of bad habits. For example, I used to binge alcohol because if I got drunk enough, I would not get hungry. Now I end up getting hungry when drinking, so I had to stop drinking (which is fine). I had to stop doing stuff like ordering some food, sitting and watching TV or playing vidya with some four lokos and vodka because I would constantly eat and drink during the day too.

Edibles kinda help curb the hunger, but I don't think its sensible long term, and a few times I discovered eating while high is like, holy shit.

tl;dr need advice on portion control, cooking utensils, what to cook, and how to cook it. Try and keep it keto-friendly, but regardless of keto (which I wont be doing forever), focus mainly on portion control. I must, MUST learn how to control portions. This has been plaguing me most of my life.
