I'm going to catalogue food I ate over several years in Japan. I'll try to put in what I recall about the circumstances. Questions are welcome.
The first is a grocery basket from Shizutetsu store with Caspian Sea yogurt, a small cup of Ben and Jerry's, and a discounted pack of beef with a packet of wasabi.

Or you could eat food eaten in Japan. I'll post some food I had there.
Here's my grocery cart from a particular shopping trip. Caspian sea yogurt, ice cream, and a pile of roast beef with wasabi on the side.

I'll see what I can dig up. Here's my shopping basket one night after work. Dinner was the discounted beef. Very simple, just beef with fresh wasabi. Absolutely delicious.
The big container is Caspian sea yogurt, which is fairly popular in Japan and nowhere else as far as I know (except the Caspian sea area, of course). It tastes similar to Greek yogurt but with a totally different texture, it's very viscous. It's supposed to be especially healthy, with numerous benefits.
But the B&J is interesting for a different reason: peanut butter is not common or popular in Japan. It was so nice to find it!
