I have just discovered that pickles are the perfect fasting food and here's why.

When you are fasting your digestive tract shuts down to save energy since there is no work .
Pickles have so few calories that most companies list the count at zero.
When you eat a few pickles your entire system has to fire back up to digest them and this burns many calories.
