seems fair to me.
in general plastic tools are unpleasant to work with, because they will always feel subpar, flimsier, lighter.
obviously going all metal is pure luxury and it is in most cases an unnecessary expense. but enjoying the tools you work with is something hobby cooks can afford if they want to.
same thing with bowls, a plastic one is even superior to porcelain because good luck breaking it. but even my cheapo chinky porcelain 1ls feel far more pleasant than the plastic one i now only use for storage of freshly cut shit that is soon to get wok'd.
