I met my wife in a kitchen, she was my boss. Now she's in the medical field but she can fucking cook if she's in the mood; which is rare but it happens. I do the majority of the home cooking but she's no slouch if I need knife work done or a burner hot and ready...stuff like that.

I've worked for a disproportionate amount of female chefs, and they are fucking RUTHLESS. Aside from being knowledgeable and good cooks they will make you feel like a piece of shit and relentlessly badger you over every minute detail. But the plates that go out to the dining room...perfect, every single time.

It depends on the other people seated, but I typically find it an enjoyable social situation, like standing in a long line for something and getting to know the people around you.

Problem is there's a chance the people you get seated with are assholes. If they are, I go out of my way to make them uncomfortable so THEY leave...I don't puss out like a punk bitch.

I frequent a pizza shop that knows my order, it's local. But beyond that no because I rarely order the same thing twice.

Even when I do, where I live servers and hostesses come and go so quickly that there's no way to build that familiarity. But I'm content with opening a menu and placing an order like normal so no biggie.
