Living in Los Angeles as an entertainer or media person makes you present like this just to survive. It's like everyone is constantly putting up a bullshit front. It really is no meme just how fucking psychotic and miserable that shit hole is. The types of conversation that people have are so petty and demeaning and tiny, tiny microworld, it's micro world. When you go to certain places in New York City or San Fran or Portland it's MICRO-WORLD. Everybody's always up each other's ASS and you have to be, if you want to be, if you want to get by you have to be the "clever" one. You have to be so "quirky". That's where he honed his standup. This guy, as funny as he thinks he is, as funny as he wishes he was, as much as this guy wish he was worldly, cultured, or interesting, deep down in his heart he knows his living situation SUCKS and he knows he's a parasite and does absolutely no good for the world at all, whatsoever. In these urban HELLHOLES you can't do anything on your own without some narcissistic psychopath coming at you armed with a smartphone or a camera gear trying to antagonize you or provoke a fight until you break down in hysterics, so they can monetize your pain and suffering for social media clout, like some kind of JRPG overworld map with random unpredictable attacks.
