If an artist wants their tuhus to be identified properly, they need to adhere to clothing choices that can help people identify them.

In the image in question, we see Maribel/Yukari sitting at a table with a remote in hand and a telephone in the shelf in the background. Items typically associated with the outside world, Maribel's world, and not Gensokyo, where Yukari resides. In addition, the image had been cropped tight, removing Chen and Ran from the image, further removing any indication that this is intended to be Yukari, and not Maribel. What we see is a blonde girl with purple eyes in a purple dress like the one Maribel is typically seen in, in a setting that would be associated with the outside world and not Gensokyo. Common sense would conclude that this is Maribel, and not Yukari. The full image depicts Ran and Chen, giving some indication that this may be Yukari instead, but that still does not explain the remote and telephone. It is 50/50 unless the artist explicitly states "This is Yukari."
