i've been a bartender for years and if you make an old fashioned any other way than:

>demerara sugar
>drop angostura bitters on demerara sugar and muddle
>2oz of bourbon
>fill with ice, stir with swizzle stick for 30seconds
>strain into highball with big ice cub and garnish with orange peel

than you're not making an old fashioned and also you're dumb.

Give name of restaurant and location.

For me, it’s Los Mocajetes in Fort Worth

If you have one, ask your local butcher for a blade steak. It's lower fat but a very tender piece of meat.

Burger anon here. I was stationed in Germany for a year and I can 100% confirm, the food is great, fantastic even, it's just that German food tends to be non-pretentious, comfy and filling, so it doesn't "feel" like some $300 a plate fine dining experience, as a whole. Knodel are fantastic, a good pork steak is amazing, and there are countless other things that are just great. Austria is a definite S++ teir too, but i'd place it over German food (sorry fritz).

Fun fact: many, many americans think a schnitzel is a sausage.
