>the best way to make pancakes
This is my favorite pancake recipe. Never tried it with raisins but it sounds like it would be really good if they were rehydrated like >>16469923 says.

Sounds pretty good. Real maple syrup has a distinct flavor that's kind of hard to describe but it also has a slight coffee taste to it from the sugar caramelizing during reduction. Honey or rose syrup are good choices for pancakes too and usually I prefer that over maple syrup.

This is my favorite pancake recipe. I don't really like plain white flour pancakes as much anymore since having these, they just have more flavor and texture and feel more satisfying to eat. Give them a try if you ever feel up to it.

I like maple syrup. I've also used rose syrup on pancakes though which is nice, it's just simple syrup with rose water added. Honey has always been my favorite though.

Pancakes are fine, especially if they're something like pic related. Wouldn't really just eat them on their own as a meal though, but I like to have it with eggs sometimes instead of just toast or whatever.

You can get lighter pancakes from scratch by using cake or pastry flour which has less protein, or substituting some flour with corn starch.

This is my favorite pancake recipe though, I really like the texture and flavor but I don't think there are any boxed versions of something like this.

you're not really supposed to just eat a stack of pancakes for breakfast though, they're supposed to be served with other things as part of a "balanced breakfast". cereal commercials say the same thing. but people get used to eating a lot of sugar and then trying to eat anything else in the morning starts seeming unappetizing.

here's a good pancake recipe i like though, it's a little healthier and more filling than plain white flour pancakes.

Use this one actually, I think if you add the melted butter with the buttermilk and egg like in the other pic it'll clump up and won't end up mixing properly with the dry ingredients. This pic just fixes that and has you add the butter later.
