Knocked knife off counter
swung hand down to catch it
caught perfectly by the handle
the momentum of the catch drove the knife into my thigh.

Wasn't that bad though.
I've gotten really close to serious finger damage when I fuck around with blunt knives.
Though thankfully it only gets just past the fingernail.

Lost feeling on the tip of my right middle finger from burning it while seasoning a cast iron pan.

Didn't end up doing any lasting damage, but most painful experience was from searing meat in a pan and putting the pan in the oven to finish cooking.
When it was done I just grabbed the metal handle with my bare hand for some reason.
