My vinegar fetish is to pour the vinegar out of a bottle of hot peppers and dip pizza style pringles in it. You can replenish the vinegar a few times, shaking the bottle, and maybe abusing the peppers a bit.

Sometimes it's just easier to throw a little paste into/onto something rather than deal with a pepper

maybe the reason americans are so fat is because they refuse to eat spicy food
>not eating pickled peppers by themselves

well i like margherita (and by that i mean american margherita, as in tomato and basil and mozz on a sauced crust)

and this is basically that with meat, olives, and peppers.

as far as why pickled peppers instead of regular..

having tried both, i prefer mine with a little acetic acid.

i actually prefer pic related, because its got a bit more capsaicin.

but when i run out, pickled jalapenos do the trick.

you should try the pickled peppers on a pizza sometime..

and if you don't like american margherita, your opinion is invalid

ketchup is awesome on a dog and fuck you for mindlessly following that stupid bullshit spouted by bob schwartz ( later parroted by bourdain)

its like new yorkers saying "real" pizzas have to be thin crust and eaten with your hand, when in italy the crust ranges from thick to thin, and is rarely if ever eaten in the hand.

its stupid bullshit that pretentious faggots spout to feel superior.
>Also post what toppings you prefer and I'll try and guess what region you're from.
cabbage
tomato
sport peppers (or pic related)
jalapeno
ketchup
mayo
mustard
relish (unless its sweet relish because that shit is disgusting)
onions
cheese (preferably something like gouda, but a hard cheese like manchego works really well too)
and for things like bratwurst
caramelized onion (caramelized in beer and sweet-hot inglehoffer's mustard)
saurkraut
horseradish

also a variety of different mustards and sausages/hotlinks is basically necessary for gourmet dogging

alright /ck/, i need the help of some midwest fags.

being a hotdog/sausage lover of all kinds, i decided to try a replication of a chicago hotdog.

the only ingredient i have been having trouble with is the sport pepper.

i recently found this one, and having tasted it, it has a nice heat, and mild (but present) flavor (and even a similar neon dye) that seems like it would go really well with the other ingredients
was wondering if any of you who have had a legit chicago hotdog and these peppers can confirm that it would be an adequate substitute
