Oh thank god a ricecooker thread.

Look sell me on these things. My mother always just put the rice in boils water. It worked but when we went to chinese places I would fucking gorge myself on white rice and soy sauce. Do rice cookers actually make the rice feel and taste like the restaurant stuff?

Every godamn recipe I find is for multiple people or family. I it is too fucking much. I mostly egg eggs and chicken breat, cottage cheese, and yogurt. Getting sick of it. I am seeking change here.

There was a thread earlier (welp, it's still alive) with a dumb wojack and green text criticizing USDA recommendations for food temps. If the cheese and crust start to brown and looked like a pizza it's absolutely, 100%, without a doubt over 160. The idea of someone trying to probe a frozen thin crust pizza does things to my head that will probably put me to sleep when I think about it later in bed.
