Been enjoying this lil Japanese pot, its good for smaller sessions.
Very different from my yixing. The Japanese pot has very little muting, maybe it rounds out bitterness a tiny bit but thats it, it also noticeably increases the sweetness of teas. My yixing is somewhat muting and adds a minerality to teas. Its interesting how they each work great for some teas and awful for others.
So far im liking this Japanese pot for young raws, old fairly clean raws clean hei cha and roasted oolong. Tried it with an hk raw and it really enchanced and excentiated the storage taste, not very enjoyable.
