Yes we do use the very high alc% ones to sterilize things, esp body scrapes, cuts or my back pimples after mama popped them.
I would not reccomend drinking the super strong rakija lol but there are some very good ones for drinking.

We call it rakija (spoken as rakiya) not sure if pols call their alcohol some other name.
