I have family over and want to make stewed jerk pork like you would get at a lunch counter, but I can't find any good recipes online for it. I've done it before but forget how and don't want to fuck it up.

Here's my strategy-

>Cut up pork shoulder and marinate in the ingredients found here: https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2010/09/jerk-pork-recipe.html
>Braise it as seen here: https://delishably.com/world-cuisine/Pork-Stew-Recipe-Jamaican-Brown-Stewed-Pork

Is there a better way to do it? Should I just scrap the plan entirely and roast the pork? Is there a better braised pork dish I can make? What should I serve it with? Pls advise

>peripheral neuropathy

Am I dying? How do I cut down without giving it up completely?
