I unironically love british food and I dont know why anyone hates it, its a shit country for sure and I wouldnt be caught in it dead outside of somewhere quaint and cozey, which incidentally is where you want to be to enjoy their food.

Its dreary in the british isles and thats the perfect place for savory hearty and oily foods to stove up with at night. pies, pastries, sausage and jellies, puddings and crumpets. basically anything savory, and at breakfast, something sweet with some hot tea.
