Adults shoudn't eat ice cream.
Desserts in general should only be eaten once or twice a year after you reach adulthood, but after puberty nobody should ever eat ice-cream.
You'd have to shovel sugar and fat into your mouth on a daily basis to not find ice cream totally disgusting, it's basically a frozen recreation of breastmilk.
Nothing could be more infantile than eating this garbage.

They usually are stale and have fondant on them which tastes awful. Fresh sugar cookies with buttercream are good but not what most people think of when they see OP's image sadly.
