This was tough, but after careful consideration my top vote goes to the Cuban sandwich. Not one, but two kinds of pork on a sandwich with the saltiness balanced by the tang of mustard and pickle and then texturally bound by melted Swiss to avoid dryness? Check. Then it’s pressed between crusty French bread to ensure every layer is evenly heated and has the bonus of holding everything inside so you never have it spilling everywhere. I’ve always loved that about it. There’s lots of sandwiches that are messy and you’ll finish the inside of a sandwich and have bread leftover that you just don’t feel like finishing. You can also find decent Cubanos all around (although I’d be lying if I said the best one I’ve ever had wasn’t in Miami).
