Fifth day with near enough zero sleep. Feels so bad that I’m aching for booze just to pass out. Never really occurred to me before but this is a very common cause of relapse for me.

Court in 4hrs 15 minutes. Nicked for 2 minor hit and run offences. Fortunately they don’t know that I was drunk, or I’d be gone for years.
Got my half bottle of vodka and 50mg of diazepam to down before I go in.
Think you’ve seen some shit? By lunchtime I have a 30% chance (so says my lawyer) of spending a “short” but unspecified amount of time in prison. Withdrawal from vodka and benzos while locked in a cage full of murderers. Awesome. Let’s do this thing.

Goodbye comfy sleeps, goodbye healing organs, goodbye no hangover/withdrawal. Hello again throwing up, mailing ex’s, pissing everywhere, cuts and injuries, heartburn, never sleeping, lethal diet, organ pain and wanting to die.
I’ll run out of weed tomorrow. I’ve spent like a grand on weed recently, but it kept me off booze for 3 months. Every time I’ve got none left I instantly fall back into the torture pit of alcoholism, and I’ve got no money left now.
At least it was nice healing. Maybe the memory of how nice this was, will help me to leave it at least a few hours before relapsing.
