yeah white tea does just look like leaves, the enzymes aren't killed to keep it green and its not oxidised to turn it black so it just ends up looking like what it is, leaves

shou mei/Gong Mei Fuding Shoumei Tea Bai Cha White
5g/100ml 85c 10+5 x10
10g in my 200ml gaiwan, big leaves and hard to break off cake, lots of intertwined stems, cake feels less dry than other cakes i've had. dry leaf smells almost like aniseed, sweet and spice.
10sec wash, 10sec 1st cup, wet leaf smells like raisins and spice. tea tastes sweet, oily and cooling. 10g/200ml might have been a bit much, after 10 cups it never went bitter, and still has a cooling effect in the mouth, the sweetness died off gradually and its a little more dry
10g may have been a bit much, i'll try 8g/200ml in future. lots of stems in this and not over powering, kind of weak flavour, not terrible very drinkable and only £10/350g
