It's probably just one dude at Bethesda who likes cooking who did the textures for the food items in the game.
Knows he'll never be a masterchef but one day happens upon the idea to make a cook book about his textures.
Actually goes home and makes the recipes.
Tries really hard to make them tasty and spends his free time writing the book in an easy to follow format.
After a full year finally gets permission to go ahead with the book.
Super excited neets will make recipes from the book and enjoy cooking.
