Actually, I would rank Little Caesars as the best of the national chains.

Pizza Hut moved to frozen crusts for their personal pans, killing a childhood memory of mine. And their regular crust is just too oily and greasy.

Domino's got better when they improved their recipe, but they're still pretty much flavorless garbage.

Papa John's has a sickly-sweet sauce, and equally sickly-sweet crust. Plus their cheese is tasteless.

That leaves Little Caesars. They make the dough fresh in-store, their cheese is real cheese (and includes Muenster!), their sauce is herby instead of sweet, and, they have Crazy Bread, which is just as I remember it. They're the best of a mediocre-to-bad lot, and they always have my business whenever I want a cheap fresh pizza.
