/ck/ - Food & Cooking

What became of the proposed sticky that was being written for /ck/?
I know some of you guys in the IRC community had come up with a guide for some objective cooking techniques (I guess the basics never change) and a good article on knife care.
Will it be published, think we really need it?
There was also a suggestion that the board should be split into two distinct entities, /fo/ for the fast food kiddies and chain restaurant stuff and /ck/ for people with a genuine interest in cooking. I suppose naturally this would leave /tv/ open for the YouTube 'celebrity' crowd and the bandwidth wasting .webm threads?
What do you guys think?

Around this time last year a group of anima and some namefags got together on IRC to try and write a sticky for /ck/.
From what we saw it looked promising, does anyone know if it's going to be published?
