I can do either, as long as the rice is good then it's all about the fillings. IIRC the ones with the seaweed on the inside only exist for picky eaters who thought seaweed was yucky. Sushi's ever increasing popularity and price has pushed me toward kimbap anyway, I can get a bigass roll that's good and filling for $4.

You should see if you have a Korean store near you like an H Mart or something. They tend to have a lot of stuff like that for quick grilling or cooking in broth. You should also see if they sell rolls, kimbap is still cheap as fuck because there's no hype around it. I can get a single roll for $4 that'll fill my fat ass up.

I don't think that's an accurate statement. Anything labeled sushi tends to command a premium because the Japanese are masters of the upsell. I can certainly get enough kimbap to fill my fat ass up for $8 though.
